Maya MacBeth

MACP(c), RP(Qualifying)

Maya works with each client in a way that feels supportive and personalized, blending different therapeutic approaches to meet individual needs. Her practice draws on psychodynamic, narrative, solution-focused, and client-centred therapies to help clients explore their stories, build resilience, and move toward meaningful growth.

As a psychotherapist-in-training developing her clinical skills under supervision, Maya integrates evidence-based approaches with warmth, authenticity, and deep respect for every individual. She is passionate about supporting people as they navigate life transitions, work through challenges, and discover new ways of relating to themselves and others.

Maya’s own immigration journey from Eastern Europe has shaped both her personal identity and her perspective as a therapist. She understands the challenges of cultural adjustment, identity development, and resilience, which inform her commitment to culturally sensitive and inclusive practice for clients from all backgrounds and walks of life.

She is currently completing her Master’s degree in Counselling Psychology at Yorkville University and holds an Honours Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from York University. Maya is a registered member of the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario (CRPO) and the Canadian Counselling and Psychotherapy Association (CCPA).

Before beginning her clinical training, she worked in healthcare, finance, and luxury retail - experiences that gave her a broad perspective on the diverse challenges people face, and which continue to shape the empathy, curiosity, and flexibility she brings to therapy.
